Napoleon "Ricco" White
Jr.
1948 - 2007
I
am deeply SADDENED BY the passing of our driver, M.C., lightman,
brother and my friend, Napoleon "Ricco" White Jr. He was found
dead at his home in Gary, IN Saturday, Dec. 15th 2007. The cause
of death is still pending.
My condolences to Ricco's daughter Labrina White, his father
Napoleon White Sr. and all of the family on their/our LOSS.
Ricco was a
kind-hearted, giving and dedicated person. He really loved music
(especially the Blues), traveling and being part of our
band. He retired from The Chicago Transit Authority after 25
years just to drive for and to be with the band. Through all the
emotions the road can put you through, the band and I, HAVE
NEVER seen Ricco angry. He was always smiling (except for
the one time when someone was bothering me and the band)! I
truly love him unconditionally and I know he LOVED me
unconditionally too! He was a big brother to us. Whatever
the band or I needed, Ricco did it! He really believed in me and
what I'm trying to do with the music and the band. He's been
with me even before I started my solo career and always made my
family feel secure because he would be right there with me. Each
note that I'll play ever again, will mean even more now.....
because of Ricco.
" Ronnie, Ricco loved you and took you as far as he
could,
now he's gone to heaven
to get you some help!"
